The Area

Plouhinec, Brittany

In the heart of Le Magouero, on the coastal customs path

In the heart of Le Magouero, a traditional hamlet in Plouhinec, La Grange Côté Mer sits directly on the coastal customs path (GR34) — a rare location for lovers of coastal hikes and Breton landscapes.

Plouhinec enjoys an ideal location, between Lorient and Vannes, right by the Quiberon peninsula. From there, the whole of southern Morbihan is within reach: the Gulf of Morbihan, the Ria d'Étel, ferries to Belle-Île and Groix, local markets and picturesque fishing ports.

Your beaches, minutes away on foot

The wide Magouero beach, which gives the village its name, is reachable on foot via a quiet path through the dunes (just 500 m). Fine sand, sheltered coves and the coastal customs path: everything is here for unforgettable coastal walks, in any season.

The GR34 runs right in front of the house — head out hiking along the coast without even taking the car.
