Plouhinec enjoys an ideal location, between Lorient and Vannes, right by the Quiberon peninsula. From there, the whole of southern Morbihan is within reach: the Gulf of Morbihan, the Ria d'Étel, ferries to Belle-Île and Groix, local markets and picturesque fishing ports.

The wide Magouero beach, which gives the village its name, is reachable on foot via a quiet path through the dunes (just 500 m). Fine sand, sheltered coves and the coastal customs path: everything is here for unforgettable coastal walks, in any season.
