Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the seasonal rental of the "La Grange Côté Mer" house, 26 Le Magouero, 56680 Plouhinec, France, offered by Arnaud & Marina Gérard.

1. Purpose

These terms apply to any booking made directly with the owner, via the website https://www.lagrangecotemer.fr or the Beds24 booking widget embedded on it.

2. Booking

A booking becomes final once confirmed in writing by the owner and, where applicable, once the deposit requested during the online booking process has been paid. The balance is payable according to the terms shown at the time of booking.

3. Occupancy

The rental is granted for a maximum of 6 people. The owner reserves the right to refuse any additional guest not declared at the time of booking.

4. Arrival and Departure

Check-in: 15h00 - 00h00. Check-out: before 10h00. An in-person welcome or self check-in (smart lock) may be offered depending on the owner's availability.

5. Cancellation

Applicable cancellation terms (deadlines, refundable amounts) are those displayed during the online booking process. If in doubt, guests should contact the owner before finalising their booking.

6. House Rules

  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Parties and events are not permitted.
  • The property is non-smoking.
  • Guests agree to respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood.

7. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be requested before arrival. Its amount and refund terms are specified at the time of booking. [TO BE COMPLETED — deposit amount and terms]

8. Inventory and Liability

The guest is responsible for the property and its equipment throughout the stay. Any damage found may be deducted from the security deposit or invoiced upon presentation of supporting documents.

9. Insurance

Guests are advised to check that they hold holiday-rental insurance covering rental risks (fire, water damage, personal liability) for the duration of their stay.

10. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French consumer law (Article L221-28 of the Code de la consommation), accommodation services provided on a specific date or with a specified frequency are not subject to a right of withdrawal.

11. Consumer Mediation

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute, failing an amicable resolution, falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
